Meet our Glamper

We have a new addition to the burrow estate. A 2014 Rockwood Popup Camper. Its our cabin in the woods on wheels, our get out of town fast mobile, our we can go anywhere with it burrow. I must admit it was a bit compulsive but we thought it out. We had been save save saving for a while and now we have a timeshare we don't have to fly to. In the area we live in there are countless places to camp within an hour away. I shouldn't even call it camping because around here it is considered glamping. And we are not ashamed - its posh and cannot really be considered roughing it. Let me share with you some of it's selling features

1. It pops up - how neat is that

2. The lifting mechanism is battery powered so we are not wasting time cranking that bad boy up - we can do it in about 45 seconds

3. Inside stove and outdoor grill - so im telling you we can cook t-bone steaks and grilled potatoes for dinner in the middle of the woods, yes please! 

4. Mini Fridge! No more packing dried veggies and ramen. We can drink cold La Croix and eat bree on our third day of camping if we so please 

5. Its another room to decorate 

6. Heated Beds - sold 

7. Heater - No more shivering or hot water bottles 

8. Hot Water heater 

9. Lots of nifty storage 

10. We can be warm and well fed while camping by a remote running stream 

We took out our camper for the 4th of July weekend in true Americana style. We loaded up our red lab and joined the masses in the woods. We took a nap during a hard rain storm and never felt a drop. We read books we had been putting off, and drank a 2008 Malbec. We lit a fire because we wanted to - not for necessity or even warmth. You can't buy that kind of relaxation. Well you can if you have a nifty jifty awesome possum popup glamper! Oh and did I mention it sleeps 6... I sense a framping (friend camping) trip coming on!!
